Trust Centre

Clear information for families, donors and funders.

The Trust Centre brings together the charity identity, safeguarding, governance, donation, privacy and payment information people need before they give, partner or ask for support.

Trust Basics

The first things people should know.

This is the quick confidence layer before people go deeper into governance, safeguarding, policies or donations.

Registered charity

The Junction Elite Project is a separate registered charity, charity number 1191120.

Trustee oversight

Trustees are responsible for charitable purpose, public benefit, safeguarding, financial controls and conflicts.

Separate systems

Donor, payment and charity records are kept separate from Junction Elite FC club operations.

Safeguarding first

Work with children and young people needs clear welfare routes, safer recruitment and visible reporting.

Transparent giving

Donations are linked to funds, campaigns, receipts and audit records through the charity platform.

Data And Activity Separation

The charity can be connected to the club without sharing the club system.

This is one of the most important trust points on the site. The Project can benefit from football delivery and local trust while keeping donor, payment, safeguarding and governance records in the charity boundary.

Charity records

Donations, Gift Aid, supporter contacts, restricted funds, audit events and charity admin activity belong in the charity environment.

Club operations

Teams, kit orders, shop payments, player registrations, timesheets, coaching operations and club budgets stay in the club environment.

Shared delivery

Where the club supports charity delivery, roles, costs, safeguarding responsibilities and public-benefit reasons should be recorded.

Sensitive information

Safeguarding, beneficiary and referral information should only be collected where there is a clear purpose and an approved route.

Safeguarding

Welfare information must be easy to find.

Safeguarding information now has its own dedicated route with emergency signposting, concern routes and the boundaries for sensitive information.

View Safeguarding
If someone is at immediate risk, contact emergency services first.
Use the safeguarding page for concern routes and advice on sensitive details.
Keep safeguarding concern details out of ordinary contact forms and email previews.
Record policy version dates, review dates and trustee accountability.

Donations And Gift Aid

Giving should feel clear before payment.

Card payments are handled through Stripe Checkout.
The site never stores raw card details.
Donation status is confirmed through verified Stripe webhooks.
Gift Aid declarations are recorded for eligible individual UK taxpayers.
Charity donations are separate from club fees, kit orders and shop payments.
Privacy And Data

Charity data must stay separate and purposeful.

Donor, payment, beneficiary and safeguarding data should be held under the charity's own controls, not mixed into the football club's operational systems.

Collect only the details needed for the enquiry, donation or safeguarding purpose.

Keep donor/payment records in the charity database, not the club operational database.

Avoid invasive analytics on donor, admin and safeguarding journeys.

Use clear retention and deletion rules before storing sensitive programme data.

Payment Confidence

Payment status comes from verified events.

The site does not mark a donation paid just because someone lands on a success page. Stripe must send a signed webhook and the charity database must be updated server-side.

Restricted funds

Money given for a specific purpose should be tracked against that purpose and reported honestly.

Gift Aid declarations

Gift Aid should only be claimed where an eligible individual UK taxpayer declaration has been recorded.

Sponsorship benefits

Commercial recognition or benefits should be separated from pure charitable donation treatment.

Refund and dispute route

Donor care questions should be routed clearly so payment, receipt or restriction issues can be reviewed.

Policy Status

Public summaries are useful, but formal policy control still matters.

The website should not pretend to be the whole governance file. It should tell people where the controls are, what the principles are and how to ask for the right document or decision route.

Public summaries

The website now gives public summaries for governance, safeguarding, donations, payments and data separation.

Full documents

Formal policy documents should be held by the charity and shared with schools, funders or partners where appropriate.

Review rhythm

Policy owners, version dates and review dates should be tracked outside the public copy and reflected when wording changes.

Escalation

Complaints, safeguarding concerns, finance questions and data requests need clear internal owners.

Decision Questions

A strong charity can answer basic trust questions clearly.

These questions are useful for trustees, funders, sponsors and school partners before delivery starts or money is restricted to a specific purpose.

How is this charitable rather than ordinary club activity?
Where will the money be recorded and who can review it?
What safeguarding and consent checks are needed before delivery?
What evidence will be collected and reported back?
Could any club-linked person or supplier have a conflict of interest?
Is this unrestricted support, restricted funding, sponsorship or a gift in kind?
Still Have Questions?

Give people an obvious route to ask before they give or partner.

Trust pages work best when they make the next conversation easy, especially for schools, funders, parents and sponsors.
