Schools

School partnerships that turn football into wider support.

The Project can work with schools and local partners to create positive football activity, practical access routes and trusted conversations around young people.

School Offer

A practical route for school leaders and pastoral teams.

This page gives schools a clearer place to land before a detailed programme, timetable, referral route or funding agreement is confirmed.

Partnership

Enrichment And PE Support

Structured football sessions that can support confidence, teamwork, attendance, behaviour, physical literacy and positive routine.

Partnership

After-School And Holiday Links

A route from school activity into camps, community football, holiday support and wider help where a young person would benefit.

Partnership

Mentoring Through Football

Football-led relationships that create space for encouragement, standards, check-ins, reflection and trusted adult support.

Partnership

Family And Referral Pathways

Joined-up conversations where families, schools and the charity can identify practical barriers before they grow.

Who It Helps

Different school teams need different routes into the same work.

The first conversation should identify who the school wants to support and what would make football genuinely useful rather than simply adding another session to the timetable.

Primary schools

Confidence-building football, activity tasters, after-school links, family engagement and transition support.

Secondary schools

Mentoring, behaviour support, leadership opportunities, structured activity and positive routes outside school.

Pastoral and inclusion teams

A practical referral conversation where football can help build trust, routine and connection.

PE and enrichment leads

Session delivery, pathway links, holiday activity and partner-funded opportunities around sport.

Delivery Formats

Schools can start small before shaping a bigger programme.

The Project should be able to scale from a simple taster conversation to a more structured school partnership where need, funding and evidence are clear.

Taster sessions

Short school-based sessions to introduce the Project, build trust and identify what pupils may benefit from next.

After-school blocks

A structured run of sessions with agreed outcomes, attendance records and review points.

Holiday pathways

Connecting pupils into camps or holiday activity where routine, food, friendship and safe places matter.

Targeted referrals

A careful route for young people who may need access support, mentoring, confidence or family signposting.

How It Starts

Keep the first conversation simple.

Stage 1

Share the need

A school or partner contacts the Project with the broad need, age group, setting and any known barriers.

Stage 2

Shape the route

The charity agrees the right delivery format, expected outcomes, funding route and practical boundaries.

Stage 3

Confirm safeguards

Safeguarding, consent, delivery roles, records, image use and data expectations are agreed before activity starts.

Stage 4

Review the evidence

Delivery is reviewed with attendance, feedback, safeguarding learning, partner notes and next steps.

What Schools Provide

Partnership works best when responsibilities are clear.

The charity can bring football delivery, trusted relationships and wider support routes. Schools bring context, safeguarding knowledge, space, staff links and feedback.

View Partner Hub

Named school lead

A clear point of contact for planning, safeguarding, consent, referrals and review.

Pupil context

Helpful information about the target group, barriers, attendance, confidence or pastoral needs.

Safe setting

Suitable space, timings, emergency routes, behaviour expectations and staff presence where required.

Review and feedback

A simple way to confirm what happened, what changed and what should happen next.

Confidence

The offer needs trust as much as energy.

Schools need confidence that the charity is clear about welfare, boundaries, data and funding. This page now gives that audience a proper route into the Trust Centre and a direct conversation.

Schools And Partners

Start with the need, then shape the right programme.

The Project can discuss enrichment, camps, mentoring, sponsorship or grant-funded school delivery without turning the homepage into a long explanation.
